Welcome to the official BotS webpage.
Battle of the Stars is an Aeon of Strife (AOS) styled map featuring TV and Movie characters as Heroes and Villains. Sporting fantasitc map design, over fifty items and recipes, and of course innovative and original characters, BotS is more than a standard AoS. There are many side quests and player options that relieve the tedium of repetive gameplay, such as player duels, and conquering the Naga Islands.
Download the latest version of the map, and head over to our forums to arrange a game with any of the BotS clan. If you're a US West (Lordaeron) player, stop by our clan channel, "clan BotS."

BotS turns one year old
Dec 23rd, 2005 marks the date when we first started work on our own map, leaving behind the DotA template I used to practice making heroes. Happy birthday, BotS! You've come a long way, baby...

Battle of the Stars v1.0
And they said it would never happen. Although I've been working on it since December, BotS version 1.0 is the first official release of the game, featuring a smaller map for faster games, 18 distinct and fun-filled characters to play, over 50 items and recipes, the Pandaren Artifact Hunter with new Artifacts, multiple game modes, and lots, lots more.

Demo Mode
I added a completely new function to the game, the Demo Mode. In the first 15 seconds of a single-player game, type "-demo yang" or "-demo yin" to view a short cinematic that goes over that side's heroes and their abilities. Useful for learning the characters without playing the game 50 times in a row. Enjoy!

Website Complete!
The last section of the site, the Interactive Map, has just been completed. Now you can take a virutal tour of the map, pick your favourite character, and decide which items to save up for, all without ever booting up WC3. ... Fully automated websites rock.
